Justin Bieber: He's Depressed, Compares Himself to Amy Winehouse

Justin Bieber: He’s Depressed, Compares Himself to Amy Winehouse, The 21-year-old singer gets brutally honest about how fame has affected him.
“…I feel isolated,” he told the mag. “You’re in your hotel room and there are fans all around, paparazzi following you everywhere, it gets intense. When you can’t go anywhere or do anything alone you get depressed…I wouldn’t wish this upon anyone.” Bieber went on to say that he gets depressed “all the time.”

With Bieber’s bad-boy ways constantly making headlines over the past year, it’s hard not to see how this could have affected him in a negative way. The singer also told the magazine that he relates to Amy Winehouse because she was scrutinized in the public eye as well.
“People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don’t know the other side. This life can rip you apart,“ he said. “I watched the Amy Winehouse documentary on the plane and I had tears in my eyes because I could see what the media was doing to her, how they were treating her.”
Despite his numerous run-ins with the law, Bieber is seeing better days ahead now and is ready to start a new chapter. His new album, Purpose, is just one of the ways he is showing the world who he truly is and not who he has been made out to be.
Still, he is not too shy to admit that it’s not easy for him. “I’m struggling just to get through the days. I think a lot of people are,” Bieber admitted.  While Justin isn’t the greatest role model in the world, I think we can show a little compassion towards the guy now.
