This isn’t the first time Ari has spoken out on important feminist issues.

Just last month she and her mom tweeted about that fact that they saw magazines in shops divided into women and men sections, reinforcing that there is a problem with feminism in society.

The singer doesn’t hesitate to share her message of acceptance and equality, either.

Thank you, Grande, for using your voice for good! “>Ariana Grande is here to teach us a lesson in Feminism 101.

When the 22-year-old singer went on Power 106 Los Angeles to promote her new single “Focus,” the radio DJs asked her a slew of fun, light-hearted questions. But one question really struck a chord with her; one of the DJs asked, “If you could use makeup or your phone one last time, which one would you pick?”

Ariana was shocked and said, “Is this what you think girls have trouble choosing between? Is this men assuming that’s what girls would have to choose between?” The DJs adamantly kept shouting “yes” while Grande said she can go “hours” without using her phone.

The DJ continued saying, “Listen and learn, ladies,” and she fired back again saying, “Boys, learn! Come on! Boys and girls, we can all learn.”

Unfortunately the radio hosts clearly didn’t get the message as they continued to frame her answers to their questions as only being something girls would do.
