Obama Bows to Honor Beijing Culture

President Obama visited China for the first time including the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, a state dinner in the Golden Room of the Great Hall of the People, and musical entertainment from the Chinese army band. Obama enjoyed the sights and compared the Chinese climate to his hometown reports Seattle Times:
“I have to say I didn’t realize that Beijing gets as cold as my hometown of Chicago,” the president said Tuesday.
While seeing the beautiful sights of Bejing, the President Obama reflected on the centuries of traditions carried through to modern times in China. “It’s a testament to the greatness of Chinese history,” Obama said while on tour.
He declared it “a magnificent place to visit” and said he wanted to come back with his wife, first lady Michelle Obama, and their two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
